Mehreen Fahad started an activity studio a year ago, which is a daycare (childcare), preschool and kindergarten, located at a prime location inside Serena Business Complex behind Serena Hotel Islamabad. The age groups that TLC caters are from year 1 to 5.
TLC is mainly about various children groups, extracurricular activities and enrichment programs. This preschool and kindergarten is designed for children who are not starting full-time school anytime soon, but are due to start in the coming years.
Activities carried out at this age help to build, develop and refine fine motor, gross and cognitive skills. These activities help to shape a child’s personality and ability. It also teaches them ways to cope and tackle all facets of life.
Currently, they are running a Mommy and Me Club session, which is a 45 minutes long aiming to impart self-confidence, self-assurance and self-esteem through music and art. For more information, please click on the link provided below:
TLC is starting a bilingual story telling session in their morning circle time for preschoolers and kindergartners. The bilingual stories will be a great help for children to stay connected to Pakistani roots and it’s official language. Each story will be accompanied by a moral.
The purpose of this story time session is to reinforce language into the minds of children and make them capable to learn Urdu in an interesting manner.
Other than this there are different programs they offer for children of different ages. The programs that are carried out involve musical instruments, recyclable materials like paper plates, food decorating like cupcake frostings, plants and much more.
