Shayar, premiered on 10 July 2020 and presented by One Two Records and Bilal Saeed, is a song based on a poet’s journey. This journey is based on a person’s life and dreams.
The song stars as a young lad with dreams and hopes of a beautifully gorgeous girl as her dream girl for life. The lad finally gets a chance to play a role as her co-star in place of the well known hero (Ali Josh), when he misbehaves and refuses to be a part of the act.
Shayar is sung beautifully by Sarmad Qadeer who is a singer, musician and lyricists. Sarmad’s voice is all about romance and love.
Also, due to the fact that the lyrics are written in Punjabi language, I feel emotions are so well expressed in Punjabi language which seems such an expressive language.
Shayar is Sarmad’s latest release which has stared the TikTok sensation “Jannat Mirza” in her debut opposite the well known “Ali Josh”. The song has been composed and written by Sarmad, as well as the music.
Choosing Jannat Mirza to star alongside Sarmad Qadeer and Ali Josh was an intelligent decision, considering her massive fan following and her being the current TikTok sensation.
Not only this, Jannat has also been a part of a controversy which somehow managed to get more views for the song too. It wouldn’t be wrong if we say it has probably now become a trend to cast TikTok stars to gain heaps of views.
Shayar has managed to get over 4.3 Million views on YouTube and is available on Spotify, Hungama, Google Play Music, Pandora, Apple, Deezer, Amazon, Wynkmusic and more.
For me, this song is on repeat ever since I have come across this one and I am so in love with it. It is so soft and calm and such a good listen and so soothing for the ears.
