The drama casts Iqra Aziz, Ahmed Ali Butt, Asma Abass, Yasir Hussain along with many others.
Background story
The story begins with a self centred girl, who is only fond of herself and her needs. A girl, who is free from all worries, blunt, ill-mannered and all she cares is about her self. She looks down on her own family merely because of their socioeconomic background for which they are not responsible.
This girl has high hopes with life and wishes to get married to a rich, well settled man but unfortunately, destiny had different plans for her. She was of the view, that she was born in a poor house, but wouldn’t prefer dying in one.
Nirma is adored by a shopkeeper Nasir (role played by Ahmed Ali Butt), who sends in a proposal of marriage for her. After a lot of conditions set by Nirma, along with her manipulative and full of lies’ tactics, she accepts Nasir as her lawful husband.
Even after a lot of lies, prophecies and incidents, Nirma still manages to be the apple of the eye of everyone. She lies, she steals but even then gets all the love she doesn’t deserve.
Nirma, upon the guidance of her friend, manages to gather a lot of money, property and ornaments from her husband.
After a while, she falls in love with Yasir (another character) and to get her husband our of they way, she plans false allegations against him and accuses him for domestic violence.
We have not seen Yasir’s appearance in the drama yet, however, the trailer seems to explain Norma’s future plans.
Plot
The drama explains the negative mindset of a girl born and raised in a grocer’s house. It explains the mental condition of a girl who does not have a logic behind how she behaves and what she desires, but just her urge for money and facilities.
While the rest of Norma’s family seems to be skeptic about her behaviour, her father seems to be one of those father’s who are unable to see any flaws in their children, especially daughters and end up justifying all their deeds and misdeeds.
Not only this, the drama also shows how the auspicious agreement (nikkah) has been made fun of by keeping it extremely conditional and one sided.
Also, the drama shows how domestic violence can be falsely posed, mainly because of the character’s greed for wealth and status.
Moreover, the drama proves to have a different story in contrast to all the mainstream stories that are being aired these days.
To know more about this drama, watch it on ARY Digital, every Saturday at 08:00 pm (PST).
