Ertugrul is a historic biopic of a brave Gazi, who was the father of Osman (founder of the Ottoman Empire). Ertugrul was the son of Suleyman Shah, who was the leader of Kayi Tribe of the Oghuz Turks.
This series, however, is a depiction of the pre-Ottoman Empire reign.

After a successful release on Netflix, where our current Prime Minister Imran Khan binge watched it, PM Imran Khan requested it to be dubbed in Urdu language for Pakistani audience. His vision behind this initiative was to enlighten Islamic history and omit the false believes that have been rooted inside Pakistani Muslims so deep that everything Islam initially taught is condemned and misinterpreted. Another reason behind this initiative was to instill within the Pakistanis, the real manners and etiquettes taught by Islam years ago.

Dirilis Ertugrul is Urdu dubbed by Pakistan Television (PTV), which is a state run television network. It is aired on PTV and is also uploaded on the official YouTube channel of Pakistan Television (PTV).
The views on the YouTube channel of PTV have been phenomenal with over 400,000 views within the first 24 hours of uploading.
Considering, Ertugrul is a depiction of what happened almost 700 years ago (7 centuries), it has made people relive those moments, enlightening the real Islam, passion for Islamic Community and ethics that have gone missing.
To sum up in a nutshell, Ertugrul is a great way to relive the moments of history and reminisce history in such a way, so as to get the courage to pick optimism and the urge of never giving up from our real Islamic heros.
The picture quality is High Definition which also becomes one of the biggest reason to watch it. Also, the Urdu dubbing has been done tremendously. The language used is easy and dialogue delivery is clear.
